It’s been awhile since we’ve checked in with some of the hot pieces in the G-8.
What has French President Nicolas Sarkozy been up to? Well, last we checked in, back around October/November, he was getting a divorce from his wife, Cecilia. Now, he’s remarried to Italian supermodel-turned-songstress, Carla Bruni. You know what that means! It means that I can now, once again, lust after him politically without anyone thinking that I really want to sex the dude up. Merci, Carla!

And what’s our man, Vladimir “Pootie” Putin, up to nowadays? Well, he’s apparently been busy threatening to aim nukes at the Ukraine — a country that now has a rather pro-West/anti-Kremlin government. He’s not too keen on having an arms race in space, though — and is proposing a space-arms-ban treaty. But that’s probs only because no one up there has pissed him off yet. Sounds like Pootie could use a vacation.
